552 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Kenya on Thursday pushing up infections since March to 93,405. 

According to the Ministry of Health Ministry, the new Coronavirus infections were confirmed from 7,013 samples tested in the past 24 hours. 

MOH announced that four patients died in the last 24 hours from the virus increasing the national fatalities to 1,618. 

At the same time, 596 more people recorded recoveries from Covid-19 pushing up the cumulative recoveries across the country to 74,999. 

484 of the latest recoveries were from the home-based care programme and 112 were discharged from various health facilities across the 47 counties. 

The Health Ministry also reported that the new cases comprised of 529 Kenyans and 23 foreigners with 366 being male and 206 female. 

The youngest virus patient is a one-year-old baby and the oldest 93. 

Nairobi County still leads in new and total infections.
