The youthful Esther Ongeri, a Kenyan, is making waves at the heart of the heated presidential campaign by Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden.  

 

Information on Biden’s campaign website and her Linkedin account shows Ms Ongeri has been working as the Director of Special Projects in the Biden 2020 campaign since July.

 

Before that, she worked in the former US Vice President’s campaign as Executive Assistant to the Campaign Manager and Special Projects Coordinator from June 2019.

The ambitious Kenyan also held the posts of operations coordinator from September 2017 to February 2018 and special projects assistant to the CFO from February 2018. 

 

Ms Ongeri graduated from the Saint Peter’s University in New Jersey with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government in the year 2017.

 

 

Before her entry into the American national political stage, she was a staff assistant between May 2016 and July 2017 and intern from August 2015 to May 2016 in the office of US Senator Bob Menendez. 

 

Ms Ongeri attained her high school diploma at Saint Dominic Academy in 2013 after joining the school in 2009.
