Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has now appealed to popular Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh to control his marital affairs or risk being punished by the State.

Gachagua called Samidoh, who is also a police officer, an embarrassment for allowing his private affairs to dominate the public discussions and in the process letting hi fans down.

He told the mugithi star that, as a man, he should take charge of his marital affairs failure to which disciplinary action would be taken against him as a member of the disciplined forces.

Gachagua was speaking in Gatundu while addressing mourners during the burial of the sister of Trade and Investments Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria on Monday.

“Wewe sasa Samidoh unajua tunakupenda lakini kuna mahali unatuangusha kidogo. Samidoh, ucontrol hii watu yako. Hakuna ndovu hushindwa na pembe zake...” said the DP.

He asked Samidoh to look for him and get his assistance on tackling his marital affairs or risk being barred from travelling abroad to perform to avert shaming the country.

“Na ukishindwa, because you are one of our officers, tutaku-discipline, tutakataza wewe kwenda ng'ambo ama kama utaenda utaenda pekee yako ndio tusipate aibu,” he added.

The DP spoke weeks after Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu was captured in a viral video engaging in a brawl with Samidoh’s wife Edith Nderitu inside a club in Dubai as he watched.

The drama happened after Nyamu invaded the stage to dance as Samidoh was performing prompting the bouncers to bundle her out of the stage where she later faced off with Edith.

The affair between Samidoh and Nyamu has dominated gossip blogs for a while ever since she revealed her pregnancy with his baby resulting in a verbal exchange with his wife.

Nyamu vowed not to engage in such drama again but Kenyans are not crossing their fingers.
