It is official…..Kenyan boy band Sauti is in talks with Azimio La Umoja One Kenya coalition in a effort to resolve the ugly stalemate over the use of their song at a recent public function.

Entertainment lawyer Moriasi Omambia has confirmed that in deed the two sides were having a discussion privately to resolve the row over an alleged copyright infringement.

Sauti Sol controversially accused Raila Odinga and his Azimio Coalition of violating its rights by playing the “Extravaganza” tune at the unveiling of Martha Karua as Raila’s running mate.

In its statement shared on their social media page and widely circulated, the popular band demanded compensation for the use of the song even Raila’s ODM downplayed the matter.

However, on Friday Omambia confirmed that the Raila Odinga Presidential Campaign had reached out through its lawyers to have the matter expeditiously resolved once and for all.
