Kenyan songstress Nadia Mukami has come out to state that she is not single, contrary to what she had been saying publicly before.

Nadia had previously told the media during interviews that she was single and had been dedicating much of her time to her craft.

In a QandA session with fans on her Instagram page 11 months ago, the petite singer said she had been single for six months after realizing relationships were dragging her music career.

She at the time said she had given herself a one-year break before tasting the dating scene again but it has now emerged that she had been in a long-term relationship but on the down low.

“I really do not like putting my personal stuff on social media. I have been in a relationship with the same guy for three years now. We been together since I was 21 years old, now I’m 24 turning 25,” Nadia said.

The ‘Wangu’ hitmaker added that, as an artist, being in a relationship is not easy, especially when your better half does not fully understand the drama that comes with the music world.

Nadia, however, counts herself lucky.

“You really need someone who gets you and so when I met someone who understood my craft while I was starting music, we have been stuck with each other to date. We have gotten to a stage where I may not talk to him for two days because busy schedule and he will understand,” she added.

She sees a bright future with her boo saying they had been through a lot together in their three-year-old relationship.
