MTV has announced the nominees for the 2021 Europe Music Awards (EMAs) or better known as MTV EMAs.

Heavyweight artists have been featured from Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania and South Africa in various award categories. 

The Wasafi records boss Diamond Platnumz has continued making his country and the whole of East Africa proud as he continues getting nominated on these world’s most prestigious awards.

The 35-year-old was also nominated in Best African Act category last year's after his might reign in the music industry.

In this year’s awards, the star will face Nigeria’s Tems, Wizkid, Ghana’s Amaarae and South Africa’s Focalistic.

For one to emerge the winner, it depends on the public voting and the public can now vote for their best artist. The awards ceremony will take place on November 14 Papp László Budapest Sportaréna in Budapest, Hungary.
