The combative and flashy Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has threatened to expose all elected leaders who are having extramarital affairs and provide evidence to that effect.

Sonko, known for his outlandish behavior, accused leaders in Kenya of not being transparent with their wives and shaming them when they die and their side dishes emerge at the funeral.

“Imagine Queen Elizabeth (94) and Prince Philip (99) have been married for 74 years since 1947, when Donald Trump was born. Lakini hapa Kenya, vitu kwa ground ni different kabisa. Many of our leaders are not transparent to their wives and when they die, mipango ya kando come from everywhere,” Sonko posted.

The city county boss, who has since fallen out of favour with President Uhuru Kenyatta, accused most of the country’s married leaders of living double lives in marriage and being hypocritical.

“Most of us leaders live double lives and practice hypocrisy, that's why we can't show off the people we love hadharani bado tukiwa when still alive. Some intimidate their girlfriends after kuwadunga ball,” he went on.

Sonko vowed that he would expose such philandering leaders in the country and provide sufficient evidence proving that they have children out of wedlock.

“No matter what position they hold in this country we shall expose with evidence all the leaders who have been lying to their wives ati hawana watoto nje ya marriage. Shame on all of you,” he concluded.
