In a video, Mrs Macharia is seen holding Macharia's hands as she leads him towards the parking lot where the car is parked.

Range Rover Vogue comes with a raft of standard equipment, including full matrix LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof, auto lights and wipers, a heated steering wheel, full leather seats, a hands-free split power tailgate, a centre armrest cooler and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

The range kicks off with the 258hp 3.0 TDV6 diesel, which is arguably more than enough engines for anybody on land.

The vehicles' engines come with Land Rover's ZF-sourced eight-speed auto and permanent four-wheel drive is of course standard across the range.

Unlike other versions of the Range Rover, Vogue models only come in standard wheelbase guise

Similarly, there are lots of safety features which include dynamic stability control with trailer stability assist for towing, lane departure warning and the usual suite of airbags on board.

In terms of engines preference, the Range Rover Vogue has three engine choices, and there are four options on the Vogue SE.

The starting price for the state-of-the-art beast that SK Macharia has been gifted ranges from Sh18,105,990 for the basic trim level machine to Sh27,712,685 for the top range SUV Range Rover Vogue SDV8.

Macharia in the recent past opened up on how hard it was for him when he was coming up, explaining that he first travelled to the US by bus with only Sh1,200 pocket money.

"I went to the US by bus. It took me nine months, with Sh1,200, and left my father and three sisters without a piece of land in the village," he remembered.

The gift was from his wife Purity Gathoni Macharia.
