Renowned radio presenter Felix Odiwuor popularly known as Jalang’o has come out to deny any involvement in any fradulent businesses, popularly known locally as 'Wash Wash'.

An emotional Jalang'o was responding to claims on blogger Edgar Obare's Insta Story exposé on Nairobi Wash Wash boys who have allegedly been derfauding unsuspecting Kenyans of their hard-earned cash.

The blogger linked the comedian to the illegal trade leaving many people questioning the source of wealth of one of the most hard working entertainers in the Kenyan industry, prompting him to come out and defend how he earns his lavish living.

While trashing the claims during his morning show alongside Kamene Goro on Kiss 100 fm, Jalang’o vehemently denied being involving in any fraudulent business, narrating how he has worked hard to be where he is and continues to take up many jobs.

The comedian and entrepreneur said he had never stolen from anyone and all his wealth was acquired legally through his day jobs as a radio presenter, his Arena Media, Youtube show Jalang'o Tv, emceeing, influencing for Oppo among other brands in the country.

“Let me tell you something, I never ever thought one day someone would question my integrity and how I make my money,” he told Kamene Goro while almost breaking down into tears.

The allegations are facing him at a time he is eyeing the Lang'ata Consituency parliamentary seat currently held by Nixon Korir.

Jalang'o intimated that he was a hardworking man with a well-paying job on job added to his many other hustles, saying he is a brand ambassador for five top companies in Kenya, all well-paying, and he also owned an advertising agency and held many gigs in a week.

He was also irked by hate he received from some quarters after showcasing his house in Kitengela, which is under construction, while also showing off another house he is building in his Siaya County village, which is now complete

“Someone told me ‘wow naona pesa ya Wash Wash inajenga’. I can say “I have knocked so many doors to have those houses get to where they are. Accuse me of anything else but not my integrity,” he stated.

He is fighting off the allegations that were based on photos he had taken with some of those suspected to be involved in fraudulent dealings.
