Celebrated deejay Samuel Muraya, better known as DJ Mo, recently revealed that only a small percentage of his wealth comes from gospel entertainment gigs.
The DJ is popularly known for his flashy lifestyle, from driving a range Rover and buying his wife - gospel singer Size 8 -a variety of expensive designer items.
He opened up on the main source of his wealth during an interview with popular presenter Jalang’o on Thursday.
According to the star, only 20 per cent of his wealth comes from entertainment gigs while the rest is from various tenders he bags.
He further revealed that he is a dedicated businessman.
"I have always been a businessman. The music industry is my passion and whatever I get from it is very little. 80 per cent of whatever I have is from business," he said.
“I do tenders and other businesses. I usually approach politicians and ask to do business with them. On the other hand, I am a businessman,” he said.
While speaking about his business deals with politicians, DJ Mo wittily joked that he would be happy to work with Jalang’o if he wins the Lang’ata Parliamentary seat that he is eyeing in the 2022 general election.
