Ndovu ni Kuu hitmaker Krispah alias Ndovu Kuu has experienced a major setback after an upcoming artist made a copyright claim resulting in his song being deleted.

Krispah featured popular musicians, Khaligraph Jones and Boutross and the song had been topping the charts in East Africa.

The song had already garnered over 3 million views before Dexta Briyanka filed a copyright infringement claim on YouTube.

In a statement released by Dexta via his Instagram account, the trio samples beat from his song.

“I didn’t mean to be rude, my people. Khaligraph and Kispah sampled my beat of the song V8 ndio wakaunda hakuna masomo KU wamekataa.”

The singer further said that the song promoted violence and hatred for universities following its narrative that there is no learning at university.

“Nimeitoa YouTube because it is infringing my rights and also it has promoted violence in Kenyatta University. Hata mzazi halipi fee juu wanasema hakuna masomo KU. Let's meet in court if you have an issue,” the musician claimed.
