Former Citizen news anchor and political reporter Jacque Maribe has finally returned to the screens after a long period of silence.

Maribe took to her Instagram account to announce the official start of her new show dubbed ‘The Jacque Maribe Show’, which airs on YouTube every Sunday at 8pm.

“In the silence, is a resilient spirit, quietly, purposefully, determined to unfold…and so, The Jacque Maribe Show, is born…L.O.A.D.I.N.G..” She announced her comeback on Friday.

The media personality also hyped the show through her social media pages revealing that Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi would be her first guest.

"LSK President Nelson Havi is on The Jacque Maribe Show. Sunday at 8 pm, on @thejacquemaribeshow," she posted.

This comes months after she quit her new online political show dubbed The Hot Seat, in which she had teamed up with Sarah Mwangi, who has continued to grow the project solo and has hosted some big shot politicians herself.

At that time, she posted a message on her social media pages announcing her comeback after two years of forced sabbatical following murder accusations imposed on her.

“She’s back…after a sabbatical from your screens… And she’s bringing on the heat…raw conversations, political affiliations, in-depth inspiration… the heat is on, only on #TheHotSeat,”

Her show, The Hot Seat, came up after she was blocked from presenting news on TV but not on social media.
