Former Tahidi High tv series actor Omosh Kizangila, real name Joseph Kinuthia, has been making headlines for about a week now after he resurfaced seeking more financial help from Kenyans barely a month after receiving more than a million shillings.

On Monday, Kenyans were irked after watching a video of Omosh who seemed totally drunk and staggering and being helped by a strsanger to walk home.

In the video, the fallen actor was dressed in a bespoke black suit but was dirty from what seemed like falling in his drunken stupor.

Soon after the video went viral, a section of Kenyans called on well-wishers to rush and rescue Omosh from the bottle before things go further south for him.

However, Omosh has now come out to denounce the video saying it is not recent and that is not the current representation of him and his ways.

“I would like for people to come to the ground and maybe even speak to my neighbours or even my family around,” he said.

He added, “Some of those videos are old and are just being used to escalate the issue. It is good for people to ask randomly from my neighbours. For example, that video I was coming from bash and random people recorded me."

He refuted claims that he is still a drunkard, saying he is a new and saved man.

“I am not drinking and I am well. Just that people misinterpreted the interview,” Omosh concluded.

In the said interview on TV47, Omosh was captured asking Kenyans to come out and send him more cash as he had used the cash donations to settle debts.

In his fresh appeal, he claimed the cash he got did not reach Sh1 million and that some people who made financial pledges to him did not follow through yet he had two wives and many children to feed.

His remarks rubbed Kenyans the wrong way with many bashing him for not getting his life in order and taking Kenyans for granted.
