Jamaican sprinting icon and world record holder Usain Bolt is the newest athlete father.

Usain Bolt and his partner Kassi Bennet announced the birth of their twins Thunder Saint Leo Bolt.

The retired world renowned sprinter took to his Instagram account to announce the arrival of his newborn baby boys in a family portrait.

In the portrait the athlete is seen together with his partner Kassi Bennet, their first-born daughter Olympia Lightning, the twins Thunder and Saint Leo who were put in flanking positions in the photo.

The 34-year-old champion will not take part in the coming Tokyo Olympic Games since he has retired from the sport.

This is the first time he is going to be spectator since 2017 and he really is excited about it. 

"I'm definitely excited to be in the stands," he said. "I've never got an opportunity to really watch Olympic Games, to either go [watch] swimming, the soccer or just to see all the events. So I'm excited to actually get the chance to really experience Olympics like a true fan." Bolt said.

Bolt remains the fastest man in the world with a record of 9.85 seconds over 100-meter sprint and 19.19 seconds over 200 meters.
