Rihanna, a mega star singer who also runs a cosmetics line, has been named on the Forbes’ list of the richest self-made women in America for the first time.

 

She made it into the prestigious list with a net worth of $600m.

 

Forbes said the Fenty Beauty founder made it to the 33rd position on the list.

 

According to Forbes, Rihanna’s music and her cosmetics line alongside its partnership with LVMH contributed a large part to her mega financial success.

 

Forbes approximated that that Fenty Beauty alone made more than $600m in sales last year.

 

The 32-year-old singer’s lingerie brand Savage x Fenty also contributed significantly to her total net worth and she co-owns it with Techstyle Fashion Company.

 

The native of Barbados is reportedly one of the most charitable celebrities and her Clara Lionel Foundation raised over $22.5m for Covid-19 relief alongside her own donation of over $8m.

 

Rihanna now joins other celebs Kylie Jenner with a net worth of $700m, Madonna with $550m, Taylor Swift with $356m and Jennifer Lopez with a net worth of $150m in the Forbes rich list.

 

Co-founder and chair of ABC Supply, Diane Hendricks, still tops the list of richest self-made women in America with a net worth of $8bn.
