A new era of digital insurance distribution has begun with the launch of J-Force, a platform by Jubilee Health Insurance aimed at simplifying how policies are managed and processed.
With this innovation, intermediaries can now handle client onboarding, track policy renewals, and issue policies more efficiently in a fully digital environment.
The unveiling of J-Force comes at a time when Kenya’s insurance penetration remains below 3 per cent, highlighting the need for solutions that make access to coverage easier.
The launch event brought together industry regulators, insurance professionals, and key stakeholders to discuss the role of technology in transforming the sector.
While addressing attendees, Jubilee Health Insurance CEO Njeri Jomo underscored the importance of equipping intermediaries with digital tools that enhance service delivery.

"Jubilee Health Insurance recognizes the critical role that intermediaries play in delivering quality insurance solutions to our customers. We are equipping our partners with the technology they need to work smarter, close deals faster, and enhance customer service anytime, anywhere," she said.
Technology is rapidly redefining financial services, and insurance is no exception. Digital solutions are increasingly being used to streamline policy issuance, improve customer engagement, and cut administrative burdens.
Group Chief Operating Officer at Jubilee Holdings Juan Cazcarra pointed to the shifting landscape in insurance delivery.
"The way we access and deliver insurance is changing, and digital tools are at the heart of this shift. J-Force gives intermediaries the support they need to work smarter, move faster, and serve their clients better in today’s fast-paced world," Cazcarra stated.
Despite the growing push for digital adoption, most insurance policies—over 60 per cent—are still sold through agents and brokers.
The challenge has been finding a balance between maintaining personal client relationships and embracing digital efficiency.
With J-Force, Jubilee Health Insurance seeks to provide intermediaries with the ability to offer seamless service without compromising customer interaction.
The role of digital platforms in the sector was also emphasised by Alice Njoroge, Director of the Insurance Institute of Kenya (IIK), who highlighted their impact on professional development and industry growth.
“The insurance industry is undergoing a significant shift, where technology is no longer an option but a necessity. Digital platforms like J-Force not only enhance operational efficiency for intermediaries but also serve as an enabler of professional growth," she noted.
"The ability to leverage data-driven insights, automate processes, and improve customer engagement is what will distinguish the next generation of successful insurance professionals."
She further explained that as the sector continues to find ways to close the insurance gap, solutions like J-Force will equip intermediaries with the necessary tools to simplify workflows while enhancing customer experiences.
To ensure easy adoption, Jubilee Health Insurance has made J-Force accessible via both a web portal on its official website and a mobile application available for Android and iOS.
Agents, brokers, and bancassurers seeking to integrate digital efficiency into their operations can now leverage this platform for greater productivity.
As technology continues to shape the financial landscape, J-Force marks a step forward in modernising Kenya’s insurance sector, offering intermediaries the tools to operate more efficiently while improving access to coverage for millions of Kenyans.
