Equity Bank has received two significant ISO certifications - ISO 27001:2023 for Information Security Management and ISO 20000-1:2018 for Service Management.
The bank received the certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an independent organization that sets and publishes international standards.
ISO certification validates adherence to best global practices in a variety of fields, among them information security, quality management, as well as environmental sustainability.
Equity says the ISO 27001:2023 certification shows its pledge to maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer data identifying and tackling potential security risks.
Similarly, the bank says its ISO 20000-1:2018 certification is a reflection of its dedication to delivering high-quality IT services that meet the changing needs of its diverse customers.
