Liberty Kenya Holdings has announced the appointment of Rosalyn Mugoh as the new Managing Director for Heritage Insurance Company Kenya Limited, ushering in a new phase of leadership at one of Kenya’s prominent insurance firms.
Mugoh’s appointment takes immediate effect, with her selection finalised following the completion of all necessary regulatory approvals.
Bringing over 14 years of executive experience in the insurance and financial services industries, Mugoh joins Heritage with a strong reputation for driving strategic growth, fostering client relationships, and achieving commercial success.
Her deep expertise spans commercial management, strategic business development, and client relations, an impressive blend that positions her to lead Heritage into a phase of growth and innovation.
Kieran Godden, Group Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Kenya Holdings, expressed confidence in Rosalyn's leadership.

Prior to joining Heritage, Mugoh served as the Managing Director and Head of the Commercial Executive Committee at Zamara Kenya, where she demonstrated her leadership in market expansion and revenue growth.
Previously, she had also led significant initiatives in her role as Divisional Head of Employee Benefits at Zamara, in addition to holding senior positions at Aon Kenya and Trustmark Insurance Brokers, where her strategic approach and management skills contributed to broadening market reach.
Mugoh’s educational background includes an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Africa Nazarene University.
She is also a Fellow of the Life Management Institute and an alumnus of the Global CEO Africa Program, having completed her studies at Strathmore Business School, Yale School of Management, and Lagos Business School.
