Kenyans from across the nation have registered their frustrations caused by the recent trend of perennial nationwide power blackouts in the wake of yet another instance that occured on Sunday evening.

This has come at a time when most families are enjoying the last bit of the weekend together as they prepare for yet another week ahead.

According to reports, the blackout that materialized at around 8 p.m. has left the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in darkness once again jeopardizing air travel operations in the region.

At the time of this publication which is about an hour since the power outage, the utility company in charge of electricity in the country, the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) was yet to issue a statement explaining to Kenyans what caused the massive blackout.

Kenya Power would later issued the much anticipated statement though void of any proper reason for the blackout, the company acknowledged that indeed the power outage affected parts of the country.

The company pledged to resolve the matter as soon as possible as expressed in the statement below:
