Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) on Wednesday opened three new branches in Nairobi and Kiambu counties as it intensifies its plans for rapid expansion across the country.

The three branches situated in Baba Dogo and Kijabe Street in Nairobi and another in Kiambu town pushes DTB’s branch network to 70 in Kenya and 138 across East Africa.

The bank says the move is in line with its strategic expansion roadmap that involves providing quality customer service and easy accessibility to its diverse product portfolio.

“We are delighted to open three new branches today and offer our SME and retail customers an even more convenient banking experience,” DTB Group Chief Executive Officer Nasim Devji said.

He added, “DTB’s growing network of branches represents our ongoing commitment to be closer to our customers and providing them with easy and convenient access to our services.”

Devji says the three new branches target traders and farmers among others and will offer a variety of innovative products and services to DTB customers in Kiambu and Nairobi.

Last year, DTB opened six branches in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kiambu counties in what it says is its pledge to enhance customer satisfaction through a 'customer-first' approach.
