D.T. Dobie & Company (Kenya) Ltd has officially gone into liquidation, with the High Court appointing Mark Gakuru as the Official Receiver to oversee the company’s assets.
The court appointment, made public on August 15, 2025, follows a decision taken over two months earlier.
The insolvency notice explained, “Pursuant to the provisions of the Insolvency Act, take notice that the Official Receiver was appointed as Liquidator of the property of D.T. Dobie & Company (Kenya) Limited following a Special Resolution dated 3rd day of June, 2025.”
With the process now underway, the Official Receiver has invited all creditors to register their claims no later than September 15, 2025.
Proof of Debts (Form No. 5) is to be filed through the Business Registration Service portal at www.brsv2.ecitizen.go.ke, with claimants required to provide complete details of what they are owed.
