Motorists will experience pain at the pump for the next month after the price of super petrol went up by Sh8.19 a litre in the latest review by Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).

EPRA on Sunday aalso announced that the price of diesel and kerosene would also shoot up by Sh5.51 and Sh5.32 respectively in the latest price review effective from midnight Sunday.

Petrol will from Monday retail at Sh115.18 per litre in Nairobi, while diesel and kerosene will be sold at Sh101.91 and Sh92.44 respectively, until EPRA announces new prices on March 14.

In Mombasa, petrol will retail at Sh112.78, diesel Sh99.52 and kerosene Sh90.05 a litre while the same will go for Sh114.88, Sh101.81 and Sh92.36 respectively in Nakuru.

In Eldoret, petrol, diesel and kerosene will go for Sh115.77, Sh102.74 and Sh93.29 respectively while in Kisumu the same will sell at Sh115.76, Sh102.73 and Sh93.28 respectively.

The regulator has attributed the increase in the prices of petroleum products to a rise in the average landed cost of imported fuel, with fares and cost of commodities set to also increase.
